About the Event
On this one day workshop you will learn traditional willow basketry techniques to create a unique, contemporary basket with wooden handle.
Willow weaving can sometimes be wet and dirty so please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy.
This is a beginner level course and no previous basketry experience is required. You will need good manual dexterity. Tools and materials will be provided.
Light refreshments will be provided but please bring your own lunch.

Please remember to bring your lunch, a mug, face covering and hand sanitizer. We will be working with the windows and doors open to ensure goodventilation. If you feel the cold, you might want to bring extra layers. If you or anyone in your household experiences symptoms of coronavirus in the 7 days leading up to the event, you MUST NOT attend the workshop. Please contact me to arrange another date. If you experience symptoms of coronavirus within 7 days of workshop, you MUST contact the NHS Track & Trace system The venue has implemented additional responsibilities on users of the hall in relation to hygiene and cleaning.
