Willow sunflowers - £50

This half day workshop is perfect as an introduction to willow weaving. We will be creating our sunflowers using the same tecehniques we use to make a base for a round basket before adding petals and a stem. Make as many as you like in the time available. 

Willow weaving can sometimes be wet and dirty so please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy.

This is a beginner level course and no previous basketry experience is required. You will need good manual dexterity. 

Tools and materials will be provided.

Please bring a mug for hot drinks. There is an onsite cafe where you can buy lunch. Alternatively, bring a packed lunch and picnic in the farm grounds.

Whilst no previous experience is required, weaving can be hard on the hands and might not be suitable for those with conditions that restrict manual strength and dexterity. All persons attending…
